The Canadian Sponsorship Landscape Study (CSLS) provides the most comprehensive information on the scope, scale and trends of Canada’s sponsorship industry, including industry size, spending by sector, activation trends, evaluation practices, strategic priorities and future outlook.

The current edition of the CSLS marks the fifth annual version since the study began in 2007. The CSLS garnered over 400 responses this year and draws on both academic and industry resources to provide information that is extremely relevant, highly ethical and provides outstanding sponsorship expertise for sponsors, sponsees and agencies alike.

Initial data for this fifth annual CSLS was collected, analyzed and presented at the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada (SMCC) Conference in Toronto on April 7, 2011. The survey remained live and additional findings were presented at the 2011 Canadian Sponsorship Forum on June 11, 2011, held in conjunction with the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada in Montreal, Quebec.

The 6th annual Canadian Sponsorship Landscape Study will launch in January, 2012. As a recipient of the fifth annual CSLS final report, we ask that you contribute to the merit of future studies by participating. The findings of the 6th annual CSLS will once again be first presented at the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada Conference and the Canadian Sponsorship Forum in 2012.
